Police are asking for help in identifying a suspect in an armed taxi robbery two weeks ago behind a school in Ottawa's south end.
A Blue Line taxi driver was pulled from his car and robbed at knifepoint by a group of five men at the back of Ridgemont High School on Alta Vista Drive, south of Heron Road, around 10:45 p.m. on July 31, said an Ottawa Police Service news release.
The driver had been asked to pick up a passenger named Mohammad, who allegedly wanted to get a box behind the school.
Police released an image of the suspect that appears to have been taken by a taxi camera.
He is described as black and around 18 years old with medium-length black hair and a small moustache. He was wearing a long-sleeved white T-shirt at the time of the incident.
