All severe thunderstorm watches and warnings have ended for eastern Ontario.
Environment Canada issued severe thunderstorm warnings for Ottawa and much of eastern Ontario on Wednesday.
The weather agency said the area could see severe thunderstorms capable of producing hail, strong winds and locally heavy downpours.
The alert said recent warm, moist air moving over southern Ontario made conditions favourable for the development of severe weather.
It was the third weather alert issued in as many days for eastern Ontario and western Quebec.
