Search on for suspect after stabbing outside Rideau Centre
Victim still in hospital more than two days later
Ottawa police are looking for a suspect after a man was stabbed in front of the Rideau Centre over the weekend.
Police said there was an altercation outside the Rideau Centre’s food court doors around 10:15 p.m. Friday.
A 21-year-old man was “severely” stabbed in the right arm, right leg and abdomen, according to police.
They said he’s still in the intensive care unit as of Monday morning.
Ottawa police said they’re looking for a black man in his mid-20s, around six feet tall with a thin build, curly, short hair and facial hair.
