Rideau Canal chalets, worth $750K, sunk by rising waters

The chalets along the Rideau Canal, purchased just a couple of years ago, have been damaged by rising waters. The CBC's Cory O'Kelly caught up with workers trying to dry them out.

Workers along the Rideau Canal are trying to dry out seven chalets, each costing $750,000, after they were flooded by rising waters.

The same thing happened when the chalets were just installed in 2011. One of the chalets suffered slight water damage when levels rose higher than expected.

As the CBC's Cory O'Kelly reports, there is no estimate yet on how much damage the water has caused this time around.
