Remembrance Day ceremony road closures

The annual Remembrance Day ceremony starts Sunday morning at the National War Memorial, and we have a list of downtown Ottawa road closures.

The annual Remembrance Day ceremony starts Sunday morning at the National War Memorial, shutting down traffic on some streets in downtown Ottawa.

The disruptions will last from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET at the following locations:

  • Rideau/Wellington Street between Nicholas and Bank streets.
  • Queen Street between Metcalfe and Elgin streets.
  • Elgin Street between Wellington and Albert streets.
  • MacKenzie Avenue between Murray and Rideau streets.
  • Metcalfe Street between Wellington and Albert streets.
  • O’Connor Street between Wellington and Queen streets.

 

Commuters are asked to use alternate routes.
