It happened Wednesday at about 5 p.m. ET at the Mont Cascades Golf Club, which is near a water park in western Quebec.
A 62-year-old woman was out for a walk when she was approached by a 50-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man riding in a golf cart, according to MRC des Collines-de-l'Outaouais police.
The woman and the man wanted to talk to the walking woman and then sprayed her with water pistols.
"The two individuals then fled, laughing, towards the clubhouse," police said.
The woman who was sprayed with water called police before heading to the golf club to find the perpetrators. When officers arrived, the victim was able to point them out.
