Police seeking teen suspect in 2 Monday sex assaults

Ottawa police are looking for one suspect after a report of two separate sexual assaults on Monday.

Incidents happened near Richmond Rd. and Bayshore Dr., 2800-block of Dumaurier Ave.

Ottawa police are looking for one teen suspect after two separate sexual assaults on Monday.

The first incident happened in the 2800-block of Dumaurier Avenue close to 3 p.m., police said. The second happened near Richmond Road and Bayshore Drive at about 7:15 p.m.

Both victims — adult women — "were walking when they were grabbed by an unknown male and sexually assaulted," said a media release issued by police.

No weapons were used or seen, police said. The suspect ran away on foot, and the victims called police.

"The male suspect is believed to be responsible for both incidents," police said.

He is described as a black male in his teens wearing a green shirt, shorts and sandals with black socks.
