Ottawa police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in the August robbery of a store in Bells Corners.

Police said on Saturday, Aug. 11, two men walked into a store in the 300 block of Moodie Drive, one armed with a handgun, and demanded money. They fled the scene with some cash and used a taxi in their escape.

One of the suspects, 31-year-old Jessie Laundrie of Arnprior, has been charged with robbery with an offensive weapon, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public and breach of probation.

Police are looking for the second man, who they describe as between the age of 20 to 25, about five feet six inches tall and 140 pounds. Police said he has short light hair, a tattoo inside the left forearm, and was wearing a dirty white sleeveless T-shirt and blue jeans.

The weapon has not been recovered, police said.
