Police search for missing swimmer in Quebec lake

One person is missing after swimming in lac du Poisson-Blanc, 100 kilometres from Gatineau Thursday.

Emergency services are diving in lac du Poisson-Blanc in search of a missing person, who disappeared in the lake Thursday. 

Sûreté du Québec received a call shortly after 12 p.m. that a 34-year-old man was missing at lac du Poisson-Blanc, about 100 kilometres north of Gatineau. 

Three people were swimming near their boats on the lake, when one of them suddenly stopped swimming and sank in the water, police say.
