Police need help to ID body found in Ottawa River reservoir
Body belongs to a white man believed to be 50-65, wearing winter work clothes
Police are asking for the public's help to identify a man whose badly decomposed body was found in an Ottawa River reservoir last week.
The body was discovered by a hydro employee Tuesday afternoon at a hydro station near the Chaudière Bridge.
The man's death is not suspicious, police said Monday. Police were checking missing person cases in Ottawa and Gatineau.
Police say it's a white man, about 50 to 65 years old, with a grey unshaven beard.
He was about five feet eight inches tall to six feet two inches tall, weighing anywhere from 190 to 220 pounds.
The man was wearing a green fall hooded jacket, burgundy top, navy blue top, blue top with horizontal lines and navy blue one-piece long johns, police said in a media release.
He was also wearing blue track pants, black Doc Martens industrial boots, and leather or suede work gloves.
