Another teenager has been charged with mischief in connection with one of dozens of prank 911 calls reporting gun or bomb threatsat Ottawa schools over the past five weeks.

The 15-year-old boy is accused in relation to a prank call at Gloucester High School on Wednesday, Ottawa police said Friday.

Theteen was charged Thursday night and has been released on a promise to appear in court.

Two other teens have already been charged with mischief in other incidents, while a third will take part in a pre-charge diversion program after admitting to his role in another case.

Police are continuing to investigate who might be responsible for the other hoax calls, which have led to dozens of school lockdowns and evacuations.

On Thursday, police said they will no longer be speaking publicly about the effects of the calls on police and the city, as they are concerned the publicity may be encouraging the perpetrators.
