Police look for suspect in pharmacy robbery
Man asked for drugs from Carling Ave. pharmacy on Sept. 13
Ottawa police are looking for a male suspect in a September pharmacy robbery.
Police said a man entered a pharmacy in the 3000 block of Carling Avenue around 12:45 p.m. Sept. 13 and repeatedly asked for morphine and fentanyl.
The man, who said he was armed but never showed a weapon, left with a small amount of cash, according to police.
Nobody was injured.
The suspect is described as a slim Caucasian man between 20 and 23 years old, standing about five feet six inches tall and weighing around 140 pounds.
Police said he was cross-eyed, clean-shaven, spoke English with no accent and had short brown or “blondish” hair.
