Police investigating after man shot on Laurier Ave

The Ottawa police guns and gangs unit is investigating after a 20-year-old man was shot in front of an apartment building on Laurier Avenue West early Sunday morning.

The Ottawa police guns and gangs unit is investigating after a 20-year-old man was shot in front of an apartment building on Laurier Avenue West early Sunday morning.

It happened at about 3:40 a.m. in front of 450 Laurier Ave. W. , an apartment building at the corner of Lyon Street.

A group of people was congregating outside when the shot was fired, police said. It struck the man in the buttocks.

Police have no one in custody and no suspect information at this time.
