Police confirm 4 suspects in car shooting on Montreal Road

More than a dozen gunshots were fired at a car with two people inside on Montreal Road and Durocher Street on Nov. 19, Ottawa police say.

Police have confirmed there are four suspects, including two shooters, involved in a shooting on Montreal Road when more than a dozen gunshots were fired at a car with two people inside.

Police describe the suspects as black men and two Middle Eastern men wearing baggy clothing, all of whom are about 25 years old. They were driving a dark-coloured, four-door Hyundai Sonata. 

The shooting happened just after midnight on Nov. 19 near the Playmate Gentlemen's Club at Montreal Road and Durocher Street.

The two people inside the car weren't hurt, police said. There were no other reports of injuries.

At least a dozen handgun shell casings of the same calibre were recovered by officers at the scene.

Police haven't yet determined whether the people inside the car were the intended targets.
