Photos of McCarthy Road shooting 'persons of interest' released

Ottawa police have released photos of persons and vehicles of interest in a McCarthy Road shooting on Aug. 17 and they want the public's help.

Ottawa police released photos of two men and two vehicles believed to be connected to a townhouse shooting on McCarthy Road 12 days ago.

Witnesses said a gunman fired at least six shots into an empty townhouse unit at the Quarry Co-op on McCarthy near Paul Anka Drive.

They said some of the bullets pierced through walls and entered other units, including one bullet that just missed a young boy’s bed.

The police’s guns and gangs unit released a set of photos of two people believed to be connected to the shooting. The unit also released a photo of two vehicles side by side.
