The bone-chilling cold will stick around for the morning, but temperatures should warm up with plenty of sunshine later today.

Sunday started off with a frigid –22 C, but with the windchill it felt more like –31.

The high today will reach –10 C under mainly sunny skies. But later this evening, clouds will roll in with a 60 per cent chance of flurries overnight.

The low will be –15 C.

A smog warning is in effect for Gatineau, Maniwaki and Chelsea.

For Monday, the high in Ottawa will remain the same with a 40 per cent chance of flurries in the morning.
