Flooded streets and paths won't get any help today as rain should continue all day and night in the capital.
Friday's forecast calls for periods of drizzle mixed with a solid rain until noon then there is a 60 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon. An east wind was also gusting at 30 kilometres per hour early in the morning.
The high is 15 C and we have a moderate UV index of three.
Tonight should remain mainly cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers as the low hits 5 C.
Saturday also looks mainly cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of showers in the morning and early in the afternoon. The high is 9 C.
Sunday should be much nicer with a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 16 C.
Take note: the weekend nights will be quite chilly as Saturday night drops to 1 C and Sunday night hits the freezing mark.
Early next week looks like a nice improvement weather-wise with more sun and highs around 12 C.
