Elxns Canada: polls at Saint Francis of Assisi school in Orleans opened about an hour late, ballot boxes went to wrong address. #PollWatch— @amkfoote
@CBCOttawa The address for Salvation Army Grace Manor Ottawa Center voting station is wrong -- it's Wellington WEST not just Wellington!— @FarrahKaya
@CBCOttawa the only trouble I've witnessed is that people are having trouble holding back their excitement. I've seen dancing in line so far— @TheSKLaSalle
One polling station in the riding of Ottawa West-Nepean didn't open at 9:30 a.m. as scheduled. A lack of Elections Canada volunteers was reportedly to blame.
@CBCOttawa Lots of trouble... lack of staff has delayed opening. If it wasn't for some volunteers who knows when we'd open.— @Barry_Caplan
70 minutes after the polling station was to have opened, Bill, who won't explain the delays, is still setting up pic.twitter.com/p8pDHM8qhk— @StuMillsCBC
There were also some issues at polling stations relating to new identification rules and what is needed to vote.

@CBCOttawa Apparently Carleton riding too big and and that's how they did it. It makes no sense at all. Won't let us vote locally.— @bigturk27
@CBCOttawa My issue is they are sending us 30km away to vote now and refusing we use our regular polling station 1km away. Ridiculous!— @bigturk27
The reconfigured ridings also left a few residents upset about their commute to vote. Specifically, the riding of Carleton that stretches around the western and southern ends of Ottawa including Kanata and Barrhaven.
