Ottawa police seek hit-and-run suspect after Fisher crash
Man in his 30s also struck along Highway 105 in Low, Que.
Ottawa police are looking for witnesses of a hit-and-run crash involving a pickup truck that sent a 19-year-old man to hospital over the weekend.
Paramedics and police say they responded just after 4 a.m. Saturday to the intersection of Fisher Avenue and Meadowlands Drive for a pedestrian struck.
Paramedics assessed a 19-year-old man who said he was walking across the street when he was struck. The man suffered injuries to his head and back and he was taken to the Civic campus of The Ottawa Hospital.
The man was in serious but stable condition.
Ottawa police are now looking for the truck that struck the man and its driver, which left the scene. They have not released a description of the vehicle in question.

Quebec man struck in Low
Police in western Quebec also responded to a pedestrian struck in Low around midnight Friday.
They said a silver Honda Civic along Highway 105 struck a man in his 30s, throwing him several metres.
The vehicle remained at the scene and no charges will be laid, police said.
