Canada's men's volleyball team made the FIVB World League finals for the first time ever last week, led by players like 29-year-old Ottawa native Adam Simac.
Simac, who stands six feet eight inches tall, talked about achieving the tall task just before the team left for Mar del Plata, Argentina.
The finals run from July 17 to 21 with six teams involved.
Canada advanced with an 8-2 record in the FIVB World League, which offers $5.7 million in prize money. It began with 18 teams split into three pools of six that competed in a five-round, 10-match format.
