Nigel Kilby, an avid dancer and member of the St. Paul's Anglican Church in Kanata, died this week in an Ottawa hospital. He had been airlifted from a Portugal hospital.

On the morning of April 3, Kilby was driving with his wife Angela when a paper delivery truck going the wrong way struck their vehicle, according to their daughter,

Angela Kilby died at the scene after the passenger side took the brunt of the impact. Nigel had suffered serious injuries.

The couple were founders of the Ottawa English Country Dance club, which meets every second Wednesday evening on Rosemount Street in Ottawa's Centretown neighbourhood.

Angela Kilby also founded the Glen Cairn Co-operative Preschool, taught art at the Nepean Visual Arts Centre and was a member of the Ottawa West Arts Association.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul's Anglican Church.
