Ottawa hospitals say they have procedures to protect newborns, including fitting babies with electronic bracelets, to prevent abductions like the one that took place at a Trois-Rivieres hospital.

The Ottawa hospital, Queensway Carleton and the Monfort hospital all use a similar bracelet security system.

As Simon Gardner reports in the video above, hospitals in Gatineau are now taking a look at their own security measures.
