The streets, courtyards and galleries of Ottawa and Gatineau will be alive with arts of all kinds Saturday night during the region's third annual Nuit Blanche.

It's an all-night celebration of Ottawa culture designed to give pedestrians close encounters with art.

Events will be taking place in the ByWard Market, at Arts Court, around the Rideau Centre, Hintonburg and Wellington West, downtown Gatineau and elsewhere.

The celebrations begin at sundown and last well into the early-morning hours.
