Gatineau police say 40-year-old Richard Bisson was arrested in connection with the homicide investigation of Yvon Normand and has been charged with second-degree murder.
Police found Normand’s body in his home at 476 Pierre Lafontaine St. near Maloney West and Greber boulevards on Nov. 11, 2013.
An autopsy was conducted a few days later, which confirmed Normand died from a head injury caused by a blunt object.
Normand's nephew, 40-year-old Richard Bisson of Gatineau, was arrested on Lois Street in Hull on Tuesday afternoon.
Bisson appeared in court on Wednesday and was officially charged.
