Some of the capital region’s biggest tourist attractions are closing for the week starting Monday.
The Canadian Museum of Nature, Canadian Museum of History (formerly known as Canadian Museum of Civilization) and Canadian War Museum are closing until Friday for annual cleaning and maintenance.
The Canadian Museum of Nature will also be taking down the inflatable whale hanging in its front tower.
In its place will be an inflatable jellyfish to promote the upcoming Creatures of Light exhibit, which begins May 3.
The Canadian Agriculture and Food Museum, Canadian Science and Technology Museum and Canadian Aviation and Space Museum will continue with their regular hours.
That means the Agriculture and Food Museum is closed Mondays and Tuesdays, while the Aviation and Space Museum is closed Tuesdays.
