Metal memorial plaque stolen from Gatineau cemetery
A memorial plaque has been stolen from a cemetery in Aylmer and Gatineau police are investigating.

Gatineau police are investigating after a memorial plaque was stolen from a cemetery in Aylmer.
Police were called to the cemetery at 35 Lattion Rd. just after 4 p.m. Sunday when someone reported the plaque was missing.
The theft of metal is common in Gatineau, police said in a media release issued Tuesday, but thefts of commemorative plaques are rare.
This plaque had been installed in 1998.
