A 49-year-old man is facing assault with a weapon charges after a fight in Chinatown on Monday afternoon.
It happened in the 800-block of Somerset Street West, between Booth and Preston streets.
Police said the man had been fighting with someone he knew, and that the victim — a 48-year-old man — sustained non-life-threatening cuts on his upper body.
The suspect was arrested Monday evening. He is facing charges of assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, aggravated assault and possession of a weapon.
He was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
