A man has been arrested and charges are pending after another man was stabbed in the stomach at a Centretown rooming house on Friday morning.
It happened at about 11:30 a.m. at 91 James St., between Kent and Lyon streets.
A man in his 40s was stabbed twice in the stomach, Ottawa police said. His injuries were described as minor, and he was taken to hospital.
A man in his 30s was arrested in the area and charges against him are pending.
Both the victim and the suspect are known to police. Central district investigations is handling the case.
