Man, 25, charged in fatal Alexandria crash
Kevin Menard, 25, facing 2 counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death
A 25-year-old South Glengarry man is facing two counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death after two young people were killed in a crash near Alexandria on Sunday.
Kevin Menard was behind the wheel of the 2006 Cadillac that left McCormick Road and struck a tree.
Colin Joseph Geddis, 21, and Jasmine Morris, 26 — both from Alexandria — died in the crash.
Menard was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
Police have not yet said what caused the crash, which is still under investigation.
Menard is next scheduled to appear in Alexandria court on Dec. 5.
