Male stabbed on downtown Ottawa street corner

A male was stabbed at the corner of Bank and MacLaren streets in downtown Ottawa Wednesday afternoon, police say.

Second male taken into custody following attack, police say

A male was stabbed at the corner of Bank and MacLaren streets in downtown Ottawa Wednesday afternoon, and another was taken into custody, police say.

It happened just after 4:45 p.m.

The victim, whose age is not yet being released, was taken to hospital. His injuries were not life threatening.

Another male was arrested and taken into custody, police said.

The corner was cordoned off with police tape while officers investigated.
