There is some concern about how a pair of Lebreton Flats heritage structures will stand up to ongoing light rail construction.
Sources tell CBC News cracks appeared in the 177-year-old Pooley's Bridge, at the bottom of Commissioner Street, after dynamite blasting for a nearby highrise building.
Construction for Ottawa's LRT line will be happening less than 100 metres away.

The above video report suggested drills would be used to dig the tunnel for the LRT project. To clarify, large excavators are used to dig out earth and rock. The material is removed in sequential layers and may be transported by trucks away from the site.Sep 24, 2013 12:02 PM ET
