Lawnmower driver facing drunk driving charges
OPP officer pulled over 26-year-old man driving lawnmower in Tyendinaga Township
A man driving a lawnmower has been charged with drunk driving after he was pulled over on a road in Tyendinaga Township, east of Belleville.
It happened on Wednesday just after 6 p.m. when a Napanee Ontario Provincial Police officer spotted the man driving the lawnmower on Marysville Road.
The officer pulled the man over and later arrested him.
The 26-year-old is charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and being over the legal limit.
He's scheduled to appear in Napanee court on July 16.
