A 61-year-old Kingston man faces several historical counts of sexual assault involving two girls.
Ontario Provincial Police launched an investigation in October 2013. The man was arrested on Feb. 5 and was charged with several counts of rape, indecent assault, sexual intercourse with a girl under 14 and bestiality, according to police.
The alleged offences occurred between 1970 and 1997 in South Frontenac Township.
The man was released on a promise to appear in provincial court in Kingston on Feb. 27.
