Two men in their early 20s are facing more than a dozen human trafficking charges after a public complaint was made in July.

The men, 21 and 22, are facing 17 charges in all. Both were arrested last week.

The 21-year-old suspect is facing the following charges:

  • One count of trafficking in persons.
  • One count of material benefit resulting from trafficking in persons.
  • One count of forcible confinement.
  • One count of assault.
  • One count of uttering threats to cause bodily harm.
  • One count of obstructing a peace officer.
  • One count of intimidation by threats of violence.
  • One count of failure to comply with an undertaking given by a peace officer.
  • Two counts of sexual assault.

The 22-year-old suspect is facing the following charges:

  • One count of trafficking in persons.
  • One count of material benefit resulting from trafficking in persons.
  • One count of forcible confinement.
  • Two counts of uttering threats to cause bodily harm.
  • One count of intimidation by threats of violence.
  • One count of theft under $5,000.

The investigation is ongoing and no other information was immediately available.
