Highway 50 crash near Thurso kills woman

Police in Quebec say a 29-year-old is dead after a rollover along Highway 50 in Thurso, Que.

A 29-year-old woman is dead after a rollover on Highway 50 near Thurso, Que.

Quebec provincial police officers say the crash happened around 4 p.m. Friday when the woman swerved and rolled her vehicle several times while travelling westbound.

The woman was not wearing a seatbelt, police said. She was also alone in the car.

She died in hospital overnight.

Police are investigating.
