Firefighters have issued an all-clear at a Belfast Road office after a suspicious package was deemed safe.
The office at 768 Belfast Rd. had been evacuated after a mail room employee X-rayed a package and saw what appears to be a jar with something inside.
The substance turned out to be safe, according to Ottawa Fire Services spokesman Marc Messier.
A HAZMAT team and bomb squad had been called to the scene.
Protocol dictated the immediate mail room area had to be evacuated.
