Cotnam came to the station in 2002, first as a morning news reader and then as our West Quebec reporter. She joined the Ottawa Morning team in 2007.

She brings a great range of experience and knowledge to the job. She's a go-to resource for the station on anything from banking to dairy farming, from military life to casinos, and we all know her love of sport makes her a terrific storyteller on that subject as well.

Her drive and commitment to Ottawa's #1 morning radio program, her many on-air skills and her unique range of experiences made her a clear choice in a competitive field of candidates.

Cotnam will fill the position until the fall.

Another announcement about the remainder of the maternity leave contract will be made at a later date.
