Gatineau police are looking for two men after a home invasion in the city’s west end on Saturday.

Police said they were called around 6:30 p.m. to a home on Cartier Street, a call that actually signalled the end of the incident.

Two men had shown up at a nearby house and asked to use the phone before tying up a man and a woman.

The woman managed to free herself and called police from a neighbour’s house.

Neither she nor the man were seriously harmed.

Police said the motive for the home invasion was unclear and they’re looking for two men in their 30s.

No other details were immediately available.
