Hundreds of people gathered on Friday to pay tribute to Mohamoud Abdulle, the director of the office of Somali Prime Minister Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed, who died last week in a suicide attack on the presidential palace in Mogadishu.

Abdulle was an Ottawa resident for years and leaves behind a family here in Ottawa. In the above video, the CBC's Sherry Aske spoke to his colleagues about Abdulle's life and work.
