Former reservist in Ottawa charged with sexual assault
A former Canadian Forces reservist living in Ottawa is facing charges for allegedly luring young people into his home and fondling them.
Canadian Forces National Investigation Service said the alleged incidents happened at an Uplands housing unit and involved five victims.
The reservist was charged with five counts of sexual assault, five counts of sexual interference and one count of sexual exploitation.
Further charges are likely to follow as the investigation continues, the Canadian Forces said.
Military investigators are asking anyone with information regarding this investigation or knowledge of additional victims to contact them at 613-949-1024 or speak to a military police member.
Police said due to a publication ban they would not release the name of the individual charged.
The accused was released with conditions on Friday.
