Environment Canada has lifted its extreme cold warning for Ottawa, but don't grab those sandals and Bermuda shorts just yet.
As of 11 a.m., local temperatures were hovering around the – 24 C mark, although the wind was making it feel closer to – 35 C.

The high for Sunday is – 18 C, with temperatures expected to fall overnight to a low of – 29 C.
The extreme cold warnings for Ottawa and much of eastern Ontario were called off just after 10:40 a.m. Sunday.
Ottawa Public Health's frostbite warning, meanwhile, remains in effect.
Ottawans could see some relief from the cold front on Monday, with a forecasted high of – 9 C. Once again, however, high winds are expected, which could make it feel more like – 34 C.
