Absolutely Ottawa 2017
Every Saturday in September at 7 p.m. on CBC Television
Celebrating stories that matter to the Ottawa-Gatineau region, Absolutely Ottawa showcases short films, musical performances and documentary programs produced by in-house producers and independent filmmakers.
This year's Absolutely Ottawa series tells unique stories from the local region, including student films from Carleton University, Algonquin College and Cegep de l'Outaouais. With heartwarming profiles of community members, musicians and local artists, both Ottawa Docs and Reel Shorts bring something special to the series. Coming up later in September, In Their Words: The Power of Poetry explores the city's talented slam poetry scene, plus encore presentations of OrKidstra: The Power of Music and The Hyphen Project.
