Sorensen returned to Ottawa from Sochi on Tuesday afternoon.

"Going into Sochi I really thought that I'd have a sense of closure after the games, regardless of my results," he told reporters who were waiting for him at the Ottawa airport.

"And now that I'm back in Ottawa, I'm like, you know what? I still have the itch a little bit. So I'm not totally convinced that I'm done at this point."

Sorensen and his teammates crashed during their second run at the four-man bobsleigh competition in Sochi.

Justin Kripps was piloting the sled when it flipped coming out of a turn towards the end of the run and slid upside down for the remainder of the course. Kripps, Sorensen, Jesse Lumsden and Ben Coakwell received medical attention after the crash for what were called minor injuries, but were able to walk away from the finish line.

Sorensen and Coakwell were replaced by Graeme Rinholm and Luke Demetre.
