Charges laid after Provender Avenue stabbing
2 people charged, police still looking for 1 suspect after Sunday stabbing critically injured man
Charges have been laid and police are still looking for a third suspect after a stabbing in the city's east end on Sunday.
A 33-year-old man was taken to hospital in critical condition after the stabbing on Provender Avenue, just east of Montfort Hospital off Montreal Road, early Sunday morning.
On Monday, police announced that a 51-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman were charged with being an accessory to a crime after the fact.
Police also said they're still looking for a third male suspect.
The victim's condition was upgraded to critical but stable.
