The festival will be Underwood's first show in Ottawa since the Senators traded her husband Mike Fisher to Nashville, where Underwood lives. Some fans blamed the award-winning singer for the move. Underwood has won five Grammys and several country music awards. She is scheduled to play the Capital Hoedown on Aug. 12.

Three-day passes for the festival are $175, and a limited number of single-day tickets will be available for $75 a day.
