Boil water advisory ends for Carlsbad Springs residents
Precautionary advisory had affected more than 650 residents
A precautionary boil water advisory has been lifted for more than 650 water users near Carlsbad Springs.
Starting Monday, Ottawa Public Health had been urging people on the Carlsbad Trickle-Feed system to bring their water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it to drink or in food preparation.
The advisory was issued because of a loss of water pressure due to a watermain break, Ottawa Public Health said.
It was lifted Thursday morning.
"Water sample results indicate the water is safe for all consumption purposes," the city said in a media release.
