Police have issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant for a man wanted in the beating death of a man two weeks ago in Grenville, Que.
Pascal Hotte of Hawkesbury, Ont., is wanted on a charge of second-degree murder.
Ontario Provincial Police said on Nov. 19 two individuals entered the home of Marc Joly at 291 Principale Street in Grenville, beat him with blunt objects and then fled. Joly later died at a Montreal hospital.
One suspect, Maxime Duval, was arrested and appeared at the Saint-Jérôme courthouse on Nov. 26 on a charge of second-degree murder.
Police said they are seeking Hotte and warn anyone harbouring or assisting him may be charged under the Criminal Code of Canada.
He is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached, police warn.
Hotte is six feet four inches tall, 278 pounds with brown hair and eyes, police said. He speaks both English and French and has dragon and bulldog tattoos.
