Cale Presnail arrested after escaping from Kingston prison

An inmate who walked out of a minimum-security prison in Kingston, Ont., on Monday was arrested this morning in Kingston.

An inmate who walked out of a minimum-security prison in Kingston, Ont., on Monday was arrested this morning in Kingston.

Cale David Presnail, 40 years old, had last been seen on Monday at around 5 p.m. inside the Collins Bay Institution.

On Wednesday morning, someone in a park called 911 after spotting Presnail there. Presnail was arrested in the park without incident.

Presnail was sentenced to life in prison for second-degree murder in Hamilton, Ont., in 1998.
