Boy, 4, seriously hurt after being struck by car in Ottawa
Single-vehicle incident on Prince of Wales Drive sends child to CHEO
A four-year-old boy suffered serious injuries after being struck by a car on Prince of Wales Drive near Ottawa's Hog's Back area Thursday evening.
Ottawa police said they were called to the 1500 block of Prince of Wales Drive around 5:30 p.m., where a boy was struck in a single-vehicle collision.
They said his injuries are believed to be serious.
Ottawa police said they are investigating and there are currently no road closures related to the incident.
On Friday morning, police said the driver of the car will not be charged.
