One of Ottawa’s signature summer music festivals is announcing its 2013 lineup on Wednesday, almost two months earlier than last year’s unveiling.

RBC Royal Bank Bluesfest tweeted Monday afternoon that it will be releasing its lineup on Wednesday.

No specific time of day was given.

Acts confirmed for this year’s Bluesfest, which begins July 4, include indie group Belle and Sebastien on July 6 and blues legend B.B. King to close the festival on July 14.

Organizers said they’re also planning a smoke-free event.

Last year’s festival lineup was unveiled at the end of April and featured a distinctly electronic feel, with DJs Tiesto and Skrillex each headlining and a special electro stage.
